Cal's Bruton's 4 steps to fix the razorbacks in 07

I believe that the razorbacks aren't completely dead as a franchise and I worked out 4 easy steps to fix the team in 07 and when you consider alcoholics need 10 thats pretty good.

1. waive ya ya dia and justin bailey, replace them with carlos powell (no one wants to play for the breakers, the nbl suits his game and im sure hed love to play in sydney) and rodney elliot (perfect starting 3 for this team.

2. sell Graeme Dann to a glue factory

3. Sign Adam Caporn and Aaron Bruce
to sure up the point spot

4. Give cal bruton a 10 year deal as coach/gm

It would make the team look like this

1. Aaron Bruce
2. james harvey
3. rodney elliot
4. carlos powel
5. Julian Khazzouh

bench: liam rush, caporn, McGregor, carter and reed.

good enough to make the 8, and im sure they have another young big in their junior system to bring up

1.) The team is small.

2.) The Razorbacks would be getting yet ANOTHER reject from the Kings. Atleast they could get Roberts or someone.

3.) Powell signing with WSR-Unlikely

4.) What about a suitable bench?

6.)JK is too young to be the main big man for every match and get 40 min+ games.

PG Impressive point guard
SG James Harvey
SF 10pt player signing
PF Cameron Rigby
C Chris Burgess

Bench:

Julian Khazzouh
maybe Aaron Bruce
Scott McGregor
Liam Rush
8 point player

Aaron Bruce probably won't be in the NBL for another ten years, let alone next year.

He's only a junior at Baylor, so he still has one more year after this one. Plus, he is on some NBA mock drafts for this upcoming draft, even rated higher than Newley on one I think.

So I'd think the few years will be either spent the NBA or Europe for Aaron.

Razorbacks need Chris Williams.. they suck at the moment and need a superstar import, not even a good import but an extremely high quality one

Cal's crazorbacks simply need the old boy to suit up and shut up .
Plus coax Cecil Exumpletive out of retirement .

Carlos Powell wont play for the razorbacks next year because im sure he'll be playing NBA. D-Mac and a few others believe he wont be back next year as he will be playing NBA.

As for Aaron Bruce. I agree totally with twenty four he will probably stay at baylor for another year and take a crack at the NBA.

Aaron Bruce is a quality player, but his numbers this year would indicate he is not an NBA possibility. Check out the Baylor box scores. Suspect we will see him in the NBL which will be great.

1) Make Cal GM

2) Move club to Canberra

3) When that fails, move club to Newcastle

4) When THAT fails, admit you dont know the first thing about running an NBL club after HOW many attempts and retire quietly!

Uncle Rico, Bruce is having a bad season so far (mind you, 11, 4 & 3 isn't THAT bad) but he still has 14 games left this season, and then like I said, his senior year at BU.

So I think he has a serious shot at the L, if not this year, then the next.

Aaron Bruce at the moment is not NBA level. He has gone backwards each year at Baylor and is Euroleague quality only.

He needs to have the time off after his junior year and relax.I beleave he had too much of a workload with college bball and study and Boomers in the off season.

Aaron, have a good long break after school this year and chill.

Hey, Lay off Cal. He gets sprayed on this site with alot of hate.
Who started the Wildcats? Who got the Bullets their last Championship? Who won at Geelong? Who has recruited some of the ALL Time Best imports in NBL history?

Cal knows his stuff, he BUILDS and is a winner. He just needs time is all.
I think Cadee is a fan of him and he will get the opportunity to BUILD the West Syd program.

All thge best Cal.
