Farley out, Wheeler in for Bullets

Willie Farley will miss Saturday's game against the Brisbane Bullets after struggling through a fitness test.

He's been put on injury waivers which means a minimum two game lay-off giving him time to recover from an ankle injury.

Brett Wheeler will come into the side making his return from a calf injury.

The decision means that Marcus Timmons, who initially came into the side to replace Wheeler, can remain in the roster.

Smyth also commented on speculation regarding Farley:

"Whether he plays again or not depends on the injury," Smyth said.

"People are asking whether hell be here next year and the truth is were not concerned about next year.

"We're concerned about now. The quicker it heals, the sooner hell be back. And we are aiming at making the playoffs.

Isaac, youve been the "odds man" this year, what odds are you giving on Willie slipping a 36ers singlet on ever again?

I think he'll come back and then someone else will get injured to accommodate his return. Don't see how else they can do it unless he stays injured.
