Phil Smyth said that they won't discuss contracts anymore until after they are out of the finals - so hopefully Friday they will be back to the negotiation table to get a deal finalised.

Based on what's been said, they should just be careful.

The 6ers do not have a good reputation for their handling of contracts.

I disagree 123abc, with the performances that he has put up this year, carrying injuries, carrying imports, carrying the team and logging huge minutes, I personally think he has 2-3 years left in him...Especially if his minutes get reduced due to someone else playing the point, and Brett being spelled by a decent back up 2 guard.. Just my opinion.
