With one round to go, Sector 7G has a five-game buffer on his/her nearest rival - so barring a catastrophic collapse, or falling victim to the online equivalent of the Sports Illustrated cover curse (latest victim: Chicago Bears), they look home.
The real battle, though, is a bit further down the table, with last year's champ Deano, Isaac and me locked on 127.
I wouldn't stoop so low as to try and sway these two fine gentlemen in their tips this week, but merely ask them to think long and hard about some of the following:
Aren't the Pigs playing well at the moment? Surely Brisbane surely don't have the cattle to keep winning? And if you take out all the close losses, games where travel was a factor and the first half of the season when the team was gelling, aren't the Sixers more like 28-3 than 10-21?
