Greatest NBL centres

We've seen the NBA's list of greatest centres. How about a similar list for those to have displayed their wares in our own backyard?

Without heaps of preparation, I'll give it a crack...

1. Mark Bradtke
2. Chris Anstey
3. Ray Borner
4. Dean Uthoff
5. Ray Owes
6. Paul Rogers
7. John Dorge
8. Willie Simmons
9. Bill Jones
10. Simon Dwight


Mark Davis, Larry Sengstock, Ken Richardson and James Crawford were all considered, but as they are more natural forwards, were not included.

Dan Clausen would have to be in that list somewhere. Probably was only good for about 4 yrs but he dominated those yrs.

Terry Dozier was pretty decent - might not have played long enough tho... But Owes made it i guess... Jayson Reese (was he a C/F) - I could go on forever... the last few could be any number of guys...

Ach hum ... where is Paris McCurdy on your list.

Actually he was not just a center, he could play all 5 positions.

what about grant kruiger if uthoff can make it any one can. how about our best centre ever david robinson(the white one).
