Very tough on Maher to miss out to McDonald or Bruton in the third team, IMO. Thought Ben Knight and Mark Worthington had quality seasons also. Other than that, fairly reasonable selections. Kings fans might have a cry about Ed Scott not getting a mention?

You'd assume that the mentions list is in order of number of votes - in which case, why is Stiffy that high?! And ahead of Hoare!?

All NBL Teams with no point guards and then have two of them in the third team.

As much as I like Dave Thomas, his selection over Redhage is a bit perplexing. Clearly, position has no impact on the teams (as evidenced by the 1st containing 1 5 man, 3 3/4 men & 1 2/3 man), and IMO, Redhage was a clear-cut top 5 player in the league this year.

Which leads me to another point - if you're going to make "All NBL" teams, why do it disregarding position? If you're going to do that, why not just break up the top 15 MVP vote getters into 3 brackets & award it based on that?

Apart from that, I'd say you'd be hard pressed to argue with the top 10, but I think Maher & Saville probably have cases to make the 3rd team. D-Mac, IMO, has not been a top 15 player in the league this season.

Would love to see the first team against the second team though...would be a great game.

There is no way Bruton deserved to make it to 3rd team. Shot 41%, and had stats of 14, 3 and 4.

The first 7 players who missed out easily deserved a spot over him.
