Former Eagle in National Championship game

I know nobody says much about the NAIA, just focusses on NCAA, but former Forestville Eagle Tara Robinson's Lambuth Eagles made it to the final four and then claimed a a two point win at the death over Union University, Tara grabbing some clutch boards while a couple of teammates came up with some big buckets down the stretch.

UPDATE: That win puts Lambuth and Tara into the national championship game being played at around 12.30pm (i think) today.

Pretty sure there will be live stats on dakstats.com, just go to Div 1 Women and scoreboard.

Lambuth University defeated Cumberland University 63-50 in the national championship game today.

Congratulations Tara, National NAIA Div 1 champion.

Nine points and three boards for Tara in the game. 4 of 6 from the field, 1 of 2 from outside. Great job.

She only joined them after Christmas and should be a big time player for them next season.

Oh, and it is also apparently the first time a Lambuth team (in any sport) has won a national title, way to be part of history.
