Sounds like Brad Sheridan is leaving the Kings to play with the Crocs in Townsville.
The Crocs are also close to signing a known Aussie big man.
Melmeth, Pepper, Moore, who else could it be?

Matty Knight would be who thr crocs are looking at, but rumor has him tied with the pigs.
Sheridan would be Newley's replacement. Time for Sheridan to step up with this move. Best thing for him getting out of Goorijian's system.

Cant see how this makes them better than last year. Losing Newley and replacing him with Sheridan is a downgrade. The Aussie big guy they get has to be better then Rice? As he was ony good for fouls! Abney will probably be back, and ive heard they're lookign at Kavossy Franklin if Rowland doesnt return.
Say they land Kavossy and a btter big man then Rice and that just about makes up for the loss of Newley. Playoff bound again but wont progress to the semis unless sheridan has a breakout year.
dinozzo, what if they pick up kavossy and pepper(or melmeth) with the rest of the team you have. that would be ok, egan had an awesome year last season maybe he could start at the SF.

not an awesome team but might be able to finish top 6. and if a couple of the bench players have a breakout year they may do alright come finals time.

Scanning the web and came acrosss this thread. Been a family friend of Brads for years - he was pretty keen to head back to Melbourne - family etc. Dragons believe it or not couldn't quite match the $$$ offered elsewhere. Up north is looking good! Kings not interested in matching any offer. They apparently did want to keep Barlow but did too ittle too late.Sav should be good for them anyway.

Sheridan to the Crocs was confirmed. The big man rumour is firming as Simon Dwight - wonder if that will work out?
