KG and Cornesy interview Willie Farley
On Monday night, the regular duo interviewed Willie Farley.
I'll keep the transcript quick because I'm flat-out.
Willie said that he was always enjoying basketball and was firing on all cylinders. He thought that the game against Cairns was great and that the Taipans just ran out of steam after the first half.
KG commented on his potential "Dunk of the Year" and Willie said that his guide to dunking on big opponents was to line him up and watch their jump. He knew that he'd have the best shot if he tried to beat Melvin with the speed of the throw-down.
They talked about the CBA and other minor leagues in the US.
He said that he was enjoying being back with the usual characters of SA basketball and that Adelaide was a good place for his family to live and a great atmosphere.
He said that the team was playing very well with a full roster who can play their roles. He said that nothing much had changed in Smyth's program since he last played in Adelaide, except that Phil was smiling more.
They briefly discussed the next game (tonight) of playing Sydney in Sydney. Willie said that he was ready to play and that it would only be a tough game if they made it a tough game. He sounded pretty positive regarding the Sixers chances.
Tune in to Fox at 7PM tonight.
