First Rasheed Wallace received a tech for laughing, now in the Spurs and Mavs. game Tim Duncan received a tech for laughing. What are the refs. thinking when they give a tech for laughing, I mean it is just silly and unnecessary.

I know what you mean, especially when Rasheed Wallace was getting picked on at the beginning of the season.

Not just laughing, but he was sitting on the bench when he got the technical for laughing - strange!
Its the same in every level of basketball. There are always refs with egos who love to put the focus back on themselves.

Thank god that Jack "the human victory cigar" Haley and Cliff "good news" Levingston have retired... The stuff they used to do on the bench (or off it) would have them taking an early shower 5 times out of ten...

They were perennial 1st team All NBA cheerleaders - they would jump around like ADHD toddlers hopped up on speed... It was well known that that was what kept them in the league when they had rather meagre basketball skills... just look at Haleys nickname - if he`s playing well it means one thing (it can also mean the other - but let`s ignore that)... and Levingston`s if he`s playing - well?...
