Abney to Cairns

Just read on the NBL website that Abney has been picked up by the Taipans.

They will have an awesome team this coming season, early favourites for the championship?

Heres the link to the story.

This time it's official confirmation.

I'd say that with an import spot still to use, they should be the favourites along with Melbourne.

nice pickup

5 Abney
4 Cattalini
3 Boodnikoff
2 Mee/Black
1 Black/Mee

with one more import to be added - likely a three man or a bigger 5 (Catt could move to the 3)

Wow thats an impressive team, so that obviously means Tucker wont be a 36er as rumoured, i hope they can get a quality import SF, i would be happy with Jayson Wells, Mike Chappell or Rob Feaster as guys from the Free Agents list, but also wouldnt mind a fresh face, maybe the Riccardo Greer guy they talked about last year could be worth a look.

Ricardo Greer earns "megabucks"
Feaster, how many points did he average? Would he be good enough to get 10+ points a game?
