On the plus side Shawn Kemp is a free-agent... Wouldn`t it be great to see him defiling the game in a Sonics jersey again...

Things are tough certainly - but there is talk that the team can still get a deal done with the city regarding a new stadium - that will keep the team in Seattle.
And Rashard has constantly said his first preference is Seattle as he is fond of the city - on top of the fact Seattle can pay him more than any other team, and want to.
Bob Hill and Rick Sund being fired is great news. Adeleman will likely come in, with Lenny Wilkins to fill a key front office role.
If they can pick up Durant or Oden in the draft they are a lock for a playoff spot next season - and I think are looking ok even without a top 2 pick.
If they deepen their bench and get a solid PG to replace Ridnour they will do alright. Especially if Wilcox can keep improving.
