Imports Under our Nose

With teams looking around the world for imports why don't more come from local comps? Look at the success of someone like Redhage. Here are some of the top SEABL ones;
Who is the best Import in the SEABL Mens league?
David Gruber
Shawn Myers
Troy de Vries
Jamal Brown
CJ Massingale

Are any of them up to NBL?

Myers and Brown are decent but only myers would be able to make the jump, he is long, athletic and can shoot the 3 pretty well.

Thoughts on CJ Massingale; is young, fast, shoots a terrifc percentage from 3 point range and inside , great work ethic and ball handler. Rebounds like a small forward and has strength despite size and plays good defense.Appears to be a good team guy too. One of the best imports the Raiders have had IMHO, would be curious to see how he'd go in the nbl.

CJ would not cut it in NBL.
