Boomers downed by Italy

The Boomers were beaten in the final seconds by Italy last night, 63-64, in China. It was just the first loss of their tour.

Brian Goorjian, Ian Crosswhite and Oscar Forman had recovered from the effects of a virus that hit the team and took part.

SA prodigy Joe Ingles top scored with 11 points while Mark Worthington and Luke Kendall had 10 each.

The Italians hit a free throw in the dying seconds of the game to register the one point win which was the Boomers first following four straight wins to start the tour.
Just one game left now, against China tonight.

Hey Isaac, from what they said about Oscar taking part, does that mean his hamstring injury is better and he took part on court, or did he just take part on the sideline.

His situation improved a bit and he was going to warm up at least and see how it felt.
