Now that Newley has chosen to spend another year in Australia Europe the question is: will he succeed making the Rockets (or any other NBA team) roster next year. He has already been invited back to play for Houston in next years Summer League. Seeing that Newley has shown reasonable improvement each year I reckon he will find his way onto a 15-man NBA roster. What do you think?

yeah dude he will. hes a heaps good player and if he works hard can achieve that spot on an NBA roster

He'd have to post career best numbers in most categories to get in the NBA next year, which will be good for the Sixers this year, but bad the next!

if he made the 15 man roster, he'd be number 15. meaning 9 other guys would have to be injured before he can get court time. just not good enough sorry. Not in the rockets lineup anyway, maybe he can catch on to Boston, I here they are short of players these days. but with pp, kg and ra, he wont touch the ball.
