CABL + NT??

found this in the write up about Geelong's Thrird SEABL East title.

"As the SEABL East Conference representative, the Supercats get to host their quarter-final match-up on Saturday night at the Arena and will take on the winner of the Central ABL, which is the best team from the combined South Australian and Northern Territory region."

If the CABL includes NT why is there no NT teams competing?

Obviously the person who wrote the piece has no idea what they're talking about.

No it is true that is why its called Central Australian Basketball League but can you imagine the cost factor of a team from NT. Other wise it would be called SA ABL or whatever.

I think Southern District Spartens (Qld)to Hobart might be a fair hike too. There are also some mighty trips in the WA state league. Would be great to see a team from the top end compete.

If Tiger Airways flew direct from Darwin to Adelaide, it might be feasible. Given the cost via Qantas or VB, we really don't stand a chance.
