Academy Squad - Who will be in it?

It is this time of year that the Academy squad is announced. Any thoughts on who will be in it? My 14 man squad is below.

Note: I'm not sure what the age limit is but I've restricted it to players born in, or after, 1985. I have also excluded players that I assume are going/returning to college (Fildes, Wernham, Max, Grantham, Webber, Clausen) and those with Sixers (Dodman, E. Birdon)

North: Rowe
Norwood: Lampshire
Forestville: Hoban
West: Spud, Craddock, Molitor
Sturt: Ng, Braham
Woodville: Mapunda, Birmingham
South: McKenzie
Southern: Lalic
Centrals: Egel
Eastern: Bungey

Under consideration: L. Burdon, T. Cioffi, P. Brown, M. Simmons, J. Read, B. Dearman

I'm not sure where I saw it, but I thought I had read previously, that the Academy was going to be a bit different with Ninnis back and they were going to be looking at guys 190cm or Taller only.

Guys shorter than that basically won't get looked at for NBL spots, unless at the AIS already.

That might eliminate, if true, a number of those players listed above.

That would exclude some of the best young players in the comp, eg Spud, Rory, Birmingham. I dont think this could be true. I agree with the team in the first thread along with the ones under consideration...

The 36ers Academy will be announced next week and some of the names speculated above will certainly be part of it.
Their is no specific height requirement as suggested as their is always room for the little man in basketball (as anyone who has observed Patrick Mills would certainly attest to).

I think the height requirement comment was made in the Advertiser a couple months ago... not sure if they are implementing it though...

Anyways, the website says that there are 16 players in the squad, under 23 years of age.

If Grantham is staying, he will probably get a spot.
