My phone (which i was posting from) died before full time. Brisbane won by around 30.

Brisbane pressed all game. CJ and Ebi looked great, Martyn is a great addition to the side. Bradshaw has yet to click into the Brisbane system.

Breakers played a lot of Zone. Turner looks promising . Oscar was the only player to shoot constantly. The addition of Penny could be all it takes to pull them together, maybe not..

Brisbane will very hard to beat this year.

Bradshaw shoots nothing but step backs and 3's. Easy to scout and guard. Has no post moves.

I wouldn't say "no post moves" - had an incredible move against the Boomers in their recent series. I'm sure he can add to that.

Have seen some stats (thanks to the provider). NZ starters were Turner, Jones, Forman, Ronaldson, Rickert.

Rickert 17 and 12, but 5 turnovers.
Forman 15 and 6 boards.
Ronaldson 12 and 3 assists.
Turner 10 points, 4 assists.
Jones, 2/10 FG for 5 points.

Turner played 34 minutes, no one else more than 32.
Henare had 10 and 4 assists in 22 minutes.
Winitana 11 and 2 steals in 25 minutes.

Breakers lost every quarter: 22-32, 27-29, 24-31, 18-27.

Rychart had 26 and 6 for the Bullets. Bruton 18, Ere 17, Hill and Mackinnon 12 each. Gibson started and Bradshaw came off the bench (fouling out in 14 minutes).

Makes the Sixer's effort on Sunday look pretty good. Brisbane will definitely continue to be a bench mark this season.
