From memory Jason Dix didn't have much/any involvement in State/SASI until later (U20s?)

Would say the current batch of 16 boys does not have the best kids attending - know of 4 kids that do other things that would walk in.
"Would probably be one of the weakest groups to have been there" - personally I think a harsh comment - but that's from the mouth of one of the coaches.
My kid attends but like many parents, there does not seem to be much improvement. Are we doing this program for the right reasons. At least the time slot is now better.
What do the other age groups feel ?
Its good to do these elite programs but we need to get the elite kids involved otherwise we reward mediocrity.

You don't really learn much at state or sasi but to get to Aus Camp and into a national programe you need neil gliddon to endorse you, so there in lies the secret.
