NBL Player of the week - your pick?

Just the start of the week but I think the POTW is almost settled.. who will win outta Chris Anstey and Adam Ballinger

Their stats for their respective games:

Anstey 36 pts (50%), 16 rebounds, 6 assists, 6 blocked shots, 1 steal

Ballinger 46 points (59%), 10 rebounds, 1 block

Based on that one game, I'd pick Anstey for his "all-round" game

Whoever does better in the 36ers v. Tigers game will win POTW

Went along to the Tigers Dragons game and Anstey had a very handy game - however the Dragons have no one to match up on him - Jacob got burnt a few times, Burston lacks defensive abilities against other bigs and the continue use of one of the worst zone defences i've seen (it was almost a 4-1).

BTW 36ers vs Tigers is next round so it wont decide this weeks player of the week.

I think we have another contender for POTW!
Ere just went for 42pts and 11rbs

Anstey so far, by a LONG way.

Nutter beat me to it, throw Ebi Ere in the player of the week contest as well with 42 points (65%FG and 64%3pt) 10 boards, 2 assists, 1 block and 1 steal with the Bullets also getting the win.
Not a bad effort but I still think Anstey and Ballinger's performance is overall better.

Anstey is my pick, as harsh as it is to deny Ballinger the award for such a great game and shouldering the role of two imports.

FWIW, quick HSA counts (didn't double check so might be wrong):

Anstey, 75.0 HSA on the road, against the Dragons
Ballinger, 55.5 HSA at home, against the Slingers
Ere, 55.0 HSA at home, against the Breakers

(HSA = PTS + 1.5xRBD + 2xAST + 2.5x(BLK+STL) - TO - (FTA-FTM) - 0.5x(FGA-FGM).)
