Looks like our U/18 girls have made it through to the finals. And if QLDS beat NSWM then the Vic country girls will miss out on top 4. Way to go girls and Coach Damien Weeks

No, the SA Metro boys just had to win - and they did 65-64. That means they finish top of their pool and will probably play QLD North in the cross-over. QLD North are playing some tough ball and only lost to Vic Metro by 3 in the earlier rounds, so the SA Metro boys need to at their best to go through to the final!!

here is the game report shown by the website;

GAME # 73 UNDER 18 Men Pool B

SA METRO V VIC COUNTRY

Built up as one of the games of the day this was always going to be a tough one. Vic Country controlled the game from the outset and appeared to be heading for a semi final berth. SA however, had other thoughts. Heading into the last quarter Vic Country held a narrow lead and went out by as many as six points at different stages. Heading into the final few minutes SA Metro looked beaten but still in touch. Trailing by 4 points Joe Ingles came up with one of the shots of the tournament a long range bomb which found nothing but the bottom of the net. With a one point lead and a series of time outs it came down to the last 11.7 seconds for Rory Craddock of SA Metro to come up with something special. As he backed down his opponent to below the foul line his intentions were clear and a quick spin move and jump shot completed the task. SA Metro across the line by 65 to 64.

kicks vic country out of the equation and means we dont meet vic metro till the final, if we get there. qld north playin good bball and with the big home crowd, tough to beat. jingles will bring it home.

I believe they were talking about the girls....came down to a 3 way tie for top, girls came second on percentage crossover to Vic Metro in the semi.

vic metro lost to qld south by in the semis and are now out of the nationals, big news. sa metro now just have to beat the 2 queensland teams and they bring home the title. with the home crowd advantage against them in both games, it sounds easier than it actually is.
