I watch the NBL every WED, Thurs (Breakers games when they on) and Sat nights and listen to it on radio every other nite, without fail, as I'm a former court side announcer in the NBL (3 seasons) and current ABL (6 or 7 seasons now) announcer too.

OMG, you should of seen my hometown of Newcastle get right on her band wagon when the Opals won last year. Any impartial observer can see what Motts brings to table. If anything, perhaps his form has suffered this year due to playing under the Adelaide system, one we all recognise might not be in place next year.

Motts is a championship player and is all class. A quality NBL level role player. Unfortunately his constant injury concerns (one leg shorter than the other) restrict his playing time and recovery.

The only real area of possible complaint about his game is how foul prone he is.
