well jess is carrying a lot of form into 2008?

Indiana awaits her - particularly after they traded Strother to Atlanta as an expasion pick (leaves a 3 guard shooting spot open at Indiana)

But Jess is putting some pressure on McInerney and Screen for a spot.

So is Cox and Poto.

I think it will get down to match ups over the Olympics.

Maybe we could have 2 Opal teams in Div 1!!! LOL

On form Jess SHOULD be a chance for a position on the Opals team for Beijing, however, if you go to the BA website Jess is not even listed as a member of the Opals Squad (not sure how long since it's been updated though). Will be interesting what her form is like over the next two games and then in the finals. IMO she will fire and once again SHOULD be in the Opals squad!!!! Go ADELAIDE Lightning for WNBL Champions.

we are lucky to have her here.

jen screen hit a purple patch in the months before opals selection for the worlds. jen played a very good defensive match up on team USA and got in.

McInerny's form ???

jess is carrying very good form at present - after three years at DUKE jess knows the USA girls' games inside out - probably having played against them in the NCAA.

Jan and her desciples have some big decisions to make.

either way jess is on a winner - states or opals!

Both McInerny and Screen have been picked previously essentially as defensive stoppers so it would probably be hard for Foley to be selected ahead of them on those grounds even though her (offensive) form might warrant it.
