Lightning rivals feeling the pinch

Saw this article online this morning...Boomers struggling to find cash to compete.

Happens in the NBL, and now the WNBL...the haves and have nots.

Bulleen will never be able to be a strong team until they actually get themselves their own stadium. Renting the Veneto which can only sit 2-300 max spectators really limits their advertisement and marketing abilities. This is especially tough because the bulleen area in melbourne is totally housing based and there is quite litterally nowhere to put a stadium!
The only solution I can see is to have a merger with a larger Victorian based team (Knox, Melbourne, Nunawading..) who already owns their own large stadium with grandstand.
Only then can bulleen truely compete, at least from a financial point of view.
Are any other teams struggling like bulleen are atm?
