NBA Games May 8 - **SPOILER**

LeBron with another stinker in Boston - 6/24 and 7 turnovers for 21 points in a loss. Game looks like nothing to write home about, with both teams shhoting poor %. I hope LeBrown turns it on in Cleveland and makes this interesting.

In San Antonio, 1st quarter appears a battle of the point guards with Paul scoring 14 and Parker 10. Probably the two quickest guys in the league (maybe TJ Ford?)

Paul on track to score 56 at this rate!

After todays game, it leaves Bron with stats like:

33 points @ 16.5 PPG
8/42 @ 19% FG's
14 reb @ 7 RPG
15 ass @ 7.5 APG
17 to @ 8.5 TOG

Pretty poor stats really, in terms of Cleveland making it a series, Bron needs to lift.

Spurs v Hornets is huge, Spurs need to win this one to keep themselves in with a chance, they drop one game at home NOH can go home and finish the series off.

James was serenaded by the fans with a chant of "Over-rated!"

How unfortunate. Looks like the Spurs will take game 3 at home. Parker and Ginobili the standouts for the Spurs and C Paul with another excellent game. I wish they'd show some of this series on ESPN.

Totally, Rat10! Foxtel's NBA coverage is retarded. Like back when Jordan was playing for the Wizards, they showed eeeeevery Wizards game, even though they basically sucked. And now they only show Kobe or Lebron or whoever the "big names" are. It's the same with their NFL coverage, they just show stupid games like the 49ers or Cowboys every week, because they are the McDonalds-esque cookie-cutter big name franchises.

They play what they think are going to get ratings, and unfortunately the in passing basketball watchers want to see guys like Bron, Kobe etc.

It's the more than just in passing fans that want to see the variety and I guess over-all we are the minority.

Agreed Bizzy. Still, one has to rant occasionally to get it out of the system. :)

If you take out Lebron's shooting percentage and turnover count he's actually getting excellent numbers by most people's standards, 16,7 and 7.

Bugger all over here, there's one game a week on free to air which is Tuesday nights at around 2am which you don't get to see if your idiot houseguest forgets to leave it on the right channel before going to bed and the recording fails as a result.

In previous years Sky Sports has shown all 7 games of the final but I'm not sure if they're doing it this year as they've not shown anything during the year for the first time. It's really ridiculous considering the success of the pre-season game this year and the fact the NBA's making a push into Europe, there's got to be loads of NBA fans here who have no way of seeing their heros in action besides 2 hours a week at an ungodly hour.
