Bullets sign Adam Tanner

Brisbane Bullets have announced the signing of 6'9" Adam Tanner to a two-year deal with the club, subject to NBL approval.

Tanner, originally from Melbourne, has spent the last four years in America attending college.

From 2004 to 2006 he attended the Seward County Community College where he was named to the All-Kansas Community College West Conference First Team and was also ranked 13th in scoring and 14th in blocked shots in the same conference.

NBL: Bullets sign Tanner

Some good new prospects coming into the league this year - Harris, Johnson, Weigh, Daniel, Tanner, etc - should be interesting to see how they go.

Bullets seems to be assembling a decent "Next generation" team. In a manner of speaking it will be in the same styling as the Sixers have been doing for years.

Potentially looking like a borderline finals team at this point. Would be nice to see some movement in the sydney teams with regards to recruits considering Mottram is the only noise we've heard.

Marty, Sydney only have two imports still to sign which is probably why they've been quiet.

No probs Isaac. Didn't realise they'd already filled the void.

Is Adam Tanner a skinny white dude with three daughters a brother-in-law who played with the Beach Boys and a best friend who does impressions of cartoon characters?

On another note, just found out that Daniel Johnson from the Tigers scored 66 points against Warrnambool on Saturday night...fair effort that!
