Will Happen Again

In light of the Kings and Bullets current predicaments is anyone else concerned that the Dragons current big spending could see them in a similar position in the future.
Just seems a carbon copy to me, overspending to win a title and than what.
Mark Cowans resources are not infinite.

True, the last two teams Goorj has coached have had major financial meltdowns. The Kings still have a pulse but the Titans yeah well.

Jason Smith was also at the Magic, Titans and kings and the Boomers went into decline from the time he pulled on the green and gold.

The man has been cursed!!!!

ok perhaps he just can't live without the big Gooj

All of BG's team have gone broke, Sydney, Titans, Magic, who ever merged to create Magic, coincidence? i don't think so. He convinces the people that write the checks that if they want him they have to spend up big to get the best talent, but it is not necessarily his fault, he doesn't write the cheques.

Gee, if the Kings go, what other team is the NBL going to revolve around? Has anybody checked on Steve Carfino - has he been admitted to hospital since his beloved Sydney is going down?

The Kings problems have absolutely nothing to do with Goorjian.

Goorjian actually has a plan in mind when he comes to a club and the problem is he probably isn't capped financially when he goes to put the plan in motion. Personally, if you're the south dragons and you've just acquired the most successful coach in the past 15 years; you're probably going to be handing out blank cheques and throwing away bank notices until you've got a cupboard full of championship gold.

Keep in mind to that the projected Dragons roster basically contains a fair majority of the NBL All-Star starters; so it's talent packed and cash packed.
