Newley's team qualifies for Euroleague

Congrats to Brad Newley - his team Panionios beat Maroussis 3-2 in best of 5 series to plce third in the Greek League and therefore qualify for the Euroleague next year.

The Panthers were down 0-2 but showed some massive "eggs" to come back and win three straight - "Smitty" had 25pts in Game 4.

This doesn't necessarily mean anything to Brad, he may still end up playing in their Greek League team instead of their Euroleauge team.

Umm yeah bluey.
His Panionios team is one and the same as the one that plays in the Greek league and what will be playing in the Euroleague next season. Just like Dvid Andersen's CSKA Moscow team.

They certainly would take there best players, but they may also look to get an new import with better numbers than Newley or in a different position
