Congrats to all the kids.
The table has lost its formating, but SA is well placed, just pipped by NSW Metro to 3rd overall.

U18 G U18 B U16 G U16 B
Vic Metro 1 1 1 2 5
NSW Metro 2 4 3 3 12
SA Metro 5 2 2 4 13
QLD South 4 5 5 5 19
Vic Country 7 7 7 1 22
SA Country 3 11 6 7 27
WA Metro 8 6 4 12 30
NSW Country 6 9 8 8 31
Qld North 9 3 9 10 31
NZL 10 8 13 6 37
ACT 11 12 12 9 44
Tas 13 10 10 13 46
WA Country 12 13 11 11 47
NT 14 14 14 14 56

Adding the areas together (dble for those single states) Says basketball is strongest in Vic (as we all know), then SA. Territorians suffer from a lack of population....

Vic 27
SA 40
NSW 43
QLD 50
NZL 74
WA 77
ACT 88
Tas 92
NT 112

Interesting info Jack Toft. What about adding in the U20's as well and see if anything changes?

Don't have the info for the U20's, but would be interesting to see...

Other interesting thing is the gap between the 2 teams/state. SA's gap is 3 positions, Vic is 4. Says to me that the gap with SA Country kids is less than other states.

Country has some pretty strong programmes - I would suggest that M Bridge and Whyalla do it well (and others too!) But, have a look at Yorke Valley's representation in the teams - somehting in the water in Kadina

I would suggest country kids playing in the metro competition, for metro clubs, on a weekly basis would be a larger benefit than the country programs.

Jack, results are on the same web site as the U16s/U18s

U20s
(No City/Country divide, No NT, No ACT in Women)

Men
===
Vic
NSW
Qld
WA
SA
ACT
Tas

Women
=====
SA
Vic
Qld
NSW
WA
Tas

With SA 1st & 5th, NSW 2nd & 4th, Qld 3rd & 3rd the rankings of those three states wouldn't change.

Oops - try again. Tas beat WA in the Women too. Results:

Rankings of the states don't change from Jack Toft's effort
