McMath and Daly in the squad of 18-20. Both are in calculations for selection.

Sorry to break it to you Camel, they are not in with a chance as the team has now been selected! That is what the annoucement is for. There was no mention of anyone who just missed out...they didn't make the cut for this team at this time.

Unfortunately there are no SA players in this Australian team to play in our own backyard.

But there is hope...
You would think that there will be some SA girls in Gems side once it is announced...

LC, I agree. I meant to say that they are still in calculations for the team in the future, especially McMath given that he is at the AIS. The World Championships are this time next year and they could make that team. It is however a tough team to break into as the team has been doing very well on the world stage.

For the first time in a long while, the AIS is not blessed with talented 7 footers...

It actually looks like a very small team.

They will still be much taller and skilled than the NZ Side, which contains College prospects Brook Ruscoe and Dion Prewster.
They are the two best players. Pretty much the same team that competed at the Albert Scheitzwer(spelling mistake no doubt) Tourny in Germany, where they finished towards the bottom of the pack. i.e 3rd last.

They are big enough. They will no doubt get up the floor quite a bit.

Huge chance for a medal!!
