Opals thrashed Beijing Olympic opponents Mali 112-43 last night in the FIBA Diamond Ball Tourney after a solid win against China. LJ led all scorers with 24 points in 20min on court. Batkovic didn't play.

The USA were also arguably more impressive in their big 93-58 win over Russia in their half of the draw.
Australia now play the USA in the final of the Diamond Ball tourney tonight in what could be a preview of the Olympic Gold Medal match.
