Perhaps Just Crazy Enough To Work...?

This is for real... Imagine if they bought the Bullets or Kings license...

http://linky.com.au/pqg2p

Basically, the website buys the license to a real basketball franchise. Members then sign up for a small fee (about $60) and, as a group, decide on how the team is run. Everything from uniform colours and marketing strategies, to coach appointment and player contracts.

Decisions are made by members making suggestions or offering solutions in a forum type discussion. All ideas are then put to a vote and majority wins!

Is it possible that an NBL team could ever be funded and run this way?
