Funny Olympics: Opals vs Brazil

What time are the opals playing tonight? Also, the Boomers are tomorrow night (Tuesday night) right?

game is at 10.15pm bejiing time, which means 11.45pm adelaide time. you should be able to get live stats via basketball australia website and then follow the links.
don't know how much of the game ch 7 will show, but lets hope its more than the Boomers game last night.

I'll record it and check it out tomorrow. They'll probably show a fair but of it cause its on so late and there probably wont be much. Boomers were actually playing at 9:30ish and didn't get much coverage but USA was on much later and did.

these refs are fkn horrible and inconsistent, its clear the aussies are 5 times better than the brazillian team and the refs are trying to even it out, some absolute bullshit calls, especially the fouls on the opals!

At the very end of the game when all the players were shaking hands I could clearly read Lauren Jackson lips "That is the worst display of refereeing I've ever seen" is what she said to the refs. I knew the refs were gonna have a shocka from the first play of the game when Belinda Snell made the bucket got fouled, ref counted the points and sent her to the line for a free throw. But the other ref signalled two shots. Snell made the first and everybody stood around for a few seconds confused. From then on it was appalling, it made the game close but also really ugly and just not good basketball. for 3-man officiating they allowed Jackson to get "woman-handled" all night off the ball - Poor!
