The following players have been selected to attend the next Australian Development Camp to be held 22 - 25 September at the Australian Institute of Sport.

The camp will also form part of the preparation for the players selected to attend the FIBA Oceania Youth Tournament to be held in Guam (28 September - 4 October, 2008)

Patrick Hunt, Camp Technical Director commented: "The camp is an important part of the program of preparation leading towards the 2011 U19 World championships. There is exciting potential in both the women's and men's squads."

No, it is a camp for the 2011 Emus/Gems. AIS Selection camp for the women's program is on now and the men's selection camp is on sometime soon.

All those players who did not get selected have the opportunity of being selected for the January and March camps.

Then they will have an AIS selection camp next year along with a September, January and March camp again.

Over the corse of this some 50+ Boys and 50+ Girls will have an opportunity to attend.

They would only be targeting the younger players though from now on. I think its too late for any of the top age under 18 players this year to get a look in
