Joyce's tirade - nothing on this guy
We have a new graduate from "Brendan Joyce's how to alienate reporters school"
The facts:
- Newcastle United in the English Premier League sack their manager
- A caretaker manager, Joe Kinnear, is appointed and started work Monday
- Some articles were written about him during the week
- On Thursday, after 4 days in the job, he starts his first official press conference off like this:
JK Which one is Simon Bird [Daily Mirror's north-east football writer]?
SB Me.
JK You're a c***.
SB Thank you.
JK Which one is Hickman [Niall, football writer for the Express]? You are out of order. Absolutely f***ing out of order. If you do it again, I am telling you you can f*** off and go to another ground. I will not come and stand for that f***ing crap. No f***ing way, lies. F***, you're saying I turned up and they [Newcastle's players] f***ed off.
- He goes on to swear 53 times in 5 minutes and tells reporters that this is his last press conference.
Brendan Joyce would be proud.
