Just checking the junior results on Sporting Pulse.
U18 Boys 1 - North 112 d Woodville 78.
What the..????
In 8-minute fully timed quarters, they are huge scores. You see these types of scores when the other team is REALLY bad, but Woodville scored 78 themselves! 190 points in 32 minutes of basketball!
Working hard on the defence at the Dome and Hillcrest this week??
Well forestville scored the second highest points this week and conceded the least.
What is everyones opinions on the under 18 comp this season?

woodville only had 4 on the court during the third and forth i think. so i think north will be the main ones hitting the defence i would say
there will be very little gap between sturt, west and eagles. with the grandfinal being 2 of these 3 teams.
then with norwood, mavs and south close behind

Doubt that Forestville are near West or Sturt. More likely near Norwood and Mavs for 3rd - 5th.

Agree with fox 07. Eagles will be in the top 5 but nowhere near Sturt and West. Norwood probably 3rd.
Why did Woodville only have 4 on the court? I assume the others were fouled out. Either a lot of fouls were called, or they had a very short bench.
In any case, I expect both of these teams will be towards the bottom of the ladder.

Not as good IMHO.
Not as strong in the guard position. And lack a genuine big to go with the big from Sturt or West.

Seriously how can anyone say where teams will finish after one game. Injuries,improvement,drop outs and recruiting over the course of a year have a huge bearing.
Southern, Woodville and Centrals lose one game and thats it for the season!!
Forestville, Sturt this week so that should give an idea of where they sit.
