Blaze cut import Hawkins
No surprises here - the 0-9 Gold Coast Blaze have cut injured import Juaquin Hawkins.
The Blaze made the decision as a result of Hawkins, who missed the past four games with a bone spur, succumbing to another injury.From GoldCoast.com.au
The man known as the `Hawk' was set to miss the next eight weeks with an inflamed arch tendon.
It is a large chunk of the season and the Blaze decided to release the man who recovered from a stroke last season.
It will be interesting to see what sort of replacement they go for.
