Gahan TD gets POTW nod

In one of the most anticipated games of the season it was Adelaide Lightning ambassador Tracy Gahan that stood out and was named the Nivea Player of the Week in Round 9 of the Australian Defence Force Women's National Basketball League.

Gahan posted a triple-double for the Lightning in their 93-77 victory over the Canberra Capitals in a top-of-the-table clash on Friday night at Distinctive Homes Dome.

The American import posted 11 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists in a near flawless game where she did not commit any turnovers or fouls in recording the third triple-double in the ADF WNBL this season.
The WNBL notes other contenders as including:
Adelaide Lightning: Adelaide produced a number of high-quality performances with Cayla Francis posting 19 points, 10 rebounds and 3 blocks, Jess Foley scored a team-high 21 points and Angela Marino bagged 19.
and:
Canberra Capitals: Abby Bishop led all scorers with 22 points when the Capitals played Adelaide on Friday night. She completed the double-double with 12 rebounds. Against Perth on Sunday she posted 10 points and 14 rebounds.

Would have been hard to pick. Maybe for the TD.
Francis was easily best in first half.
Marino and Foley were great.
I thought, maybe Francis.
