ESPN Extends Coverage of the WCC

Big news for Foxtel subscribers with ESPN...

ESPN have just announced that they will be extending their coverage of the NCAA West Coast Conference (WCC) basketball.

"The WCC, partnered with ESPN, has launched an international television package that is scheduled to broadcast 23 games on ESPN Australia, ESPN HD Australia, ESPN Pacific Rim, and ESPN New Zealand."

The Saint Mary's Gaels who boast Patty Mills amongst their 5 Aussies, will be featured 16 TIMES of those 23 games. Finally something to get excited about if you have Foxtel!

Loved this little descriptor on the WCC page:

one of its most monumental strategic television initiatives.

I had a quick look for the other MSTIs, as implied by 'one of' - but didn't see any!

While I think of it, and only vaguely related: what do others think of ESPN's new-look website today? IMO looks a bit cleaner and easier on the eye.

Like the previous iteration more. I mostly use the NBA Scoreboard page and think it's a little washed out now.
