Crosswhite, Ellis, Vale to face tribunal

The National Basketball League has announced that Cairns Taipans' players Ian Crosswhite and Dwayne Vale and Townsville Crocodiles' player Rosell Ellis will all face the NBL Tribunal on charges arising out of the Taipans-Crocodiles match at the Townsville Entertainment Centre on Saturday night.

Crosswhite has been charged with 'Disputing Decisions/Contrary Conduct' for an alleged incident in the first quarter of the game that resulted in his ejection from the game.

Vale and Ellis have each been cited on a charge of 'Fighting/Punching/Wrestling' for an unrelated incident that is alleged to have occurred in the third period of the match, which also saw both ejected from the game.
If Crosswhite threw the ball at the ref as has been reported, should he cop a suspension?

Anyone know more about the Vale/Ellis incident? There was TV footage of the fight heading into a corporate box and even talk that a fan had thrown a punch, but Cattalini may have escaped trouble if it's true that he was the "third" in and could have escalated the situation?

anyone got the footage?

Not like Cat to be involved in these things is it.

Crosswhite should get games for throwing the ball if that is what happened

Precedent of Cat and Marcus Wright should see Vale and Ellis get one game each.

Crosswhite has to cop games for that. Threw the ball at the ref, offloaded with what looks like a fair swag of abuse and even looked to signal the cut throat threat at the end!? Loads of opportunities for Matt Smith now!
