Blaze looking to sign Mika Vukona

Saw a mention on OzHoops that the Blaze have a verbal agreement with ex-Dragons forward Mika Vukona. That will cover the loss of Luke Whitehead, without using an import spot.

Nice pick-up.

Edit: Hadn't occurred to me, but someone just suggested it - could Ere reunite with Wright at the Blaze? Would make even more sense if Harvey went to Europe as he's hinted.

Something like:

Gibson/Goulding
Harvey?/Demos
Ere?/?
Import?/Vukona
Vanderjagt/Behrendorff?

Could do OK.

that team could do ok,vukona cerainly fills that mongrel spot well.
they have most bases covered and with ebe they would just about make the final four.

Mika is a solid player who benefitted from playing under Gorj @ the dragons. he always had hussle on D but now on offence he knocks his shots down with confidence and is mad athletic

Vukona will be joined by Petrie up here and Pero will also be returning to add experience off the bench.
Harvs however is still the key and negotiations with him are apparently on track for an announcement very soon

Then its a matter of deciding on 2 imports or just going with 1 big name ;)
