Is Abercrombie a Kiwi? He won the ROY award, so I assume he is. Is he signed to anyone in the NBL?

Yeah, a Kiwi and signed to the Breakers, essentially taking Phill Jones' spot in the rotation. If you haven't seen him play, he's very fun to watch - can jump like a bastard, goes for big unlikely blocks, alley-oops, etc. Came back from a US college after being pushed out by their program (I think). He's a bit like Joe Ingles in a way.

There was a great play by him last season where he came in to jump for the alley-oop, twisted his ankle so that it almost touched the court on one of his last two steps, recovered and still got up there for the dunk.

Was development player for NZ Breakers last season with Corey Webster, is signed to the breakers and was a major factor in Phill Jones not getting another contract with the breakers this coming season as Abercrombie stepped up when needed last season and with having Jones he would never really get a chance to shine

Both of last years development players have been given contracts for this year with the Breakers.
Webster shot the lights out in this seasons NZNBL

Abercrombie, what a star.

How does Phill Jones win MVP??? Must've had the greenest light of all green lights ever.

Anyone got Balls' raw stats?

Oh and is Behrendorff signed with NZB again?

So that's why I can't jump.

Wow that league should take it easy with alllllll those awards!

Abercrombie will be tough in NBL this upcoming season IMO, and im not just basing this on his 417 awards haha

Just checked out Efevberha. Could be a good fit at SG for the 6ers if he is a little less expensive than most imports.

If you google him, check out the third result on the list. Funny stuff!

Ballinger would have some knowledge of him and if good for Sixers.

Phill Jones won MVP cos he can flat out play.
He is one of the guys you want shooting that 3 on the buzzer to win the game for you. Apart from the "clutch" factor and his 3 point shooting, he has a safe pair of hands with the ball and he can read the game well.

BTM, he's 6'5" from memory, 24yrs old, played a bit of D-League, didn't shoot many threes, pissed off his girlfriend according to datingpsychos.com then went to NZ.
