Good call MMW!

Who here, if they won $53m, would buy an NBL team? If you were prepared to burn a couple mil to get the ball rolling then and then managed to keep the bleeding to an absolute minimum, maybe even turn the occassional profit once the league ramps up again, I reckon it would be worth considering.

It would certainly be a good way to keep yourself busy with all the time on your hands after quitting your day job.

Put $xxk aside and use the interest (less tax) to prop up a team if you couldn't make it profitable.

$53 million should be enough to buy the league.
Fast Eddy and McPeake pretty much owned it for far less.

Try and search for the winner and beg him to assist sixers for next few years to attract quality players in order to win a premiership like the melbourne teams have done in last three years!!!!Ask the Queensland winner to be owner of brisbane bullets for the new league.
