Rollers World Challenge on ABC

In a coup for the sport of basketball, ABC TV has announced it will broadcast the upcoming Australian men's wheelchair basketball team (the Rollers) in their four-nation international tournament -the Rollers World Challenge.

Staged at the Sydney Olympic Park Sport Centre from Wednesday July 29 to Saturday August 1 inclusive, the tournament will be shown on both ABC1 and ABC2. The Rollers World Challenge will feature the three medal winning teams from the 2008 Beijing Paralympics Games - Australia (1st), Canada (2nd), Great Britain (3rd). The event will also include Asian powerhouse Japan. The tournament will be screened on ABC2 each evening culminating with the final on Saturday night.
ABC 2 On-Air times:
Wed, 29 July 6:30pm  8pm Australia v Canada
Thursday, 30 July 6:30pm  8pm Australia v Japan
Friday, 31 July 6pm  8pm Australia v Great Britain
Saturday, 1 August 6pm  8pm Final

ABC 1 On-Air times:
Saturday, 25 July 1.30pm  2pm nationally (except Vic)
12.30pm  1pm Vic only
Saturday, 1 August 1pm  2pm nationally (except Vic)
12noon  1pm Vic only

This is great news... I really enjoyed watching the Rollers on TV during the paralympics.

They have a lot of good personalities in that team... should be good viewing!
