Ninnis appointed assistant for Gaze China tour

Ninnis Appointed Assistant Coach to Tour China

Scott Ninnis, Head Coach of the Adelaide 36'ers has been appointed Assistant Coach of the 'Andrew Gaze Touring Team' which will be touring China for three games against the Chinese National Team from 26th July to 2nd August.

36'ers Players Brad Hill and Jacob Holmes have also been selected for the team along with others including Glen Saville, Matthew Knight, Mat Campbell and Rhys Carter.

"It will be a great experience coaching at that level against the quality of the Chinese National team and obviously working closely with someone of the stature and experience of Andrew Gaze will be hugely beneficial" Ninnis said.

Ninnis added "It is also great to see Jacob and Brad selected for the team. Brad didn't get to play many minutes during the Boomers recent tour so the chance for him to get more court time against quality opposition will be very beneficial for him".

Does this mean they will not be attending Boomers Camp 2 from 21/7 to 27/7 ?

Has the squad been cut since Camp 1

Yeah, I think the squad has been cut and Gaze's team might pick from the remainder. Must've picked up another PG if Carter is spare? Maybe Mills will be available for the South America trip?
