Will Jawai make it in the NBA?

Jawai right now is a big center that may or may not make the team. I would find it highly amusing if he ended up being as good as Marcin Gortat.

Jawai has a guaranteed contract for the upcoming NBA season so he cant get cut. He becomes a restricted free agent after this season.

Just like Patty Mills, he is highly over-rated by the Aussie fans. It would be great to see a local do well but when push comes to shove, there is a reason he doesn't get minutes.

Mills is not overrrated TC2. He can play and has the runs on the board at International and College level. He does however remain unproven at NBA level as he has not yet had a chance to play.
Jawai remains unproven at either International or NBA level yet.

Jawai was the only player last season to get a -ve effiency rating.

I know he only played a few games... but it is not all that difficult to be in the positives.
