NBA on 1HD - 2009/10 Schedule (Maybe!)

I didn't get these details off IHD, but it does say they will be showing 3 games a week for coming season.

Using the schedule on www.nba.com and have seen what games are to be shown on TNT for the coming season (which is what 1HD used last season) .

If I am right, I think schedule will look like this (if we get every game from TNT that is).

Celtics, Cavs, Lakers & Magic - 15 games
Nuggets - 13
Spurs - 10
Bulls - 9
Heat & Suns - 8
Blazers - 7
Jazz - 5
Mavs - 4
Clippers & Hornets - 3
Warriors - 2
Hawks, Grizzlies, 76ers & Wizards - 1

So, hopefully the expected good teams do play well. Goodbye to Pistons & Rockets this year!
Also, no Bogut for those that want to watch him play at all.

Pretty poor if that is the case...whilst I love the fact One HD is televising the NBA, I personally would prefer to see both Bogut and Andersen play at least a coupe of times.

There will be more games on ESPN - hopefully a few Bucks/Rockets games on there

Actually neither Bucks or Rockets get any National TV games. Bucks get a Game against Dallas on NBA-TV, but that is all for either of them.

Suprised to see no Rockets games televised nationally - but then again isn't Yao out for the season?

ESPN (In USA, anyway) covergae for next season is: -

Celtics - 15 games
Cavs & Magic - 14
Lakers & Spurs - 13
Nuggets, Suns & Blazers - 11
Mavs - 9
Jazz - 8
Heat & Wizards - 7
Hawks, Warriors & Hornets - 6
Clippers & Knicks - 5
Bulls & Pistons - 4
Pacers, TWolves, Thunder, 76ers & Raptors - 1

Going to see a lot of the same teams this coming season, but I guess it is understandable, especially with, as Shin Splints said above, no Yao at the Rockets

No Yao, no Artest, no McGrady for half of the season.

Why would they get any air time, I would rather watch the Raptors(shudders....)

Because Houston is the 4th biggest city in the US = large viewing audience.

Clippers & Knicks get 5 games each nationally (ESPN) - and they will be worse than Houston - but LA & NY are big markets.

Clips also drafted number 1, and NY will alwys get air time no matter how bad they are..

So someone has to miss out. Unlucky Houston.

Shin Splints, I think the Clippers and the Knicks have a good chance of being better than the Rockets this year. The Rockets are going to just plain stink.

That is not definately the one hd coverage so dont get too excited or disapointed until the real schedule comes out!
