Hawks sign 6'7" QLDer Tim Coenraad

Sounds like the Wollongong Hawks have signed one-time Bullets development player Tim Coenraad. More recently Coenraad has played college in the US: college profile and stats.

Apparently he's been playing in the QABL, putting up 24 and 9 behind Cameron Tragardh.

College stats suggest that he can hit the three. Looks like a reasonable rookie signing.

(He's not their U23 signing though - that's Jackson.)

He's been playing for the Northside Wizards in the QBL here.

I am slightly biased, but this is an astute pick-up for the Hawks. He is very athletic, solid offensively, and works hard on d. Excellent 2/3 backup.

Bad luck to Burdon, but I like that he was considered for the position. Shows that his ability in Adelaide hasn't gone unnoticed.
