Dusty's dunk

So much depressing discussion has come about from last night's game and rightly so, but let's discuss some of the positives from this game. After all its the memory of this game that's going to linger throughout the off season. Cooper had his best game of the season but the biggest treat would have to be Dusty's dunk. He has got it in him yet doesn't show it that much. He should, it wouldn't improve an otherwise consistently fantastic performance, but would sure add spice to it.

That was nice but Mr Mathews over Coop was also very tasty.

Agreed about Dusty he shows some attitude every now and then and had a big block a few weeks back

It was the result of a much needed steal, that made it all the more impressive.

And the dribbling display to actually get it to the hoop - A great move indeed!
As you said EC while it wouldnt make him a better player seing him (or anyone for that matter) throw it down with a bit of aggression really does get the crowd into it and lifts everyone on teh team!

As for Matthews dunk - awesome and certainly was deserving of Kerle taking his photo! ;)

Matthews dunk was dunk of the year by far and the brisbane boys had reason to celebrate after getting jeered off two weeks ago, im sure that was fresh in there minds!!!!! no matter what anyone thinks simon kerle is good for the game and definately attracts a crowd, its all so about entertaining basketball and characters and i think brisbane have all of that.

It was pure bad luck on our part that Brisbane played the way they did. They had not played a single game all season that was that impressive. Our record against Brisbane is better than theirs. Our loss was purely a fluke because of the way they played on this single occassion. A score of 110 on our part would have won most games so we weren't that shabby. Our wins and losses against them in the past have always been very close, so that also indicates that last night's game was out of character for them.

Maverick, Willie on Melvin was the dunk of the year IMO.

Mathews was nice but Willie just had that little bit extra on it.

I liked Dusty's behind the back dribble that occurred almost accidentally -- freak show of dribbling skills from him! Haha. Quiet 21 and 16 from Dusty, somehow.

I rate Matthew's dunk slightly higher than Farley's for the fact it was over David Cooper (who had already sent back 4 shots that game) as opposed to Farley's on Melvin... who can hardly jump without coming down with a hamstring injury.

The beauty of Dusty, a quite 21 and 16. If he can keep on quitely posting number like that he can stay for as long as he likes. Definately a Mr Consistant
