John needs a new nickname. It doesn't feel right saying "Gilly" all the time, too Aussie.
I've heard "Pitbull", that's not bad.
So what beats Homicide? Massacre???

I don't know?, how about Back to the Future or Marty McFly... coz in the movie Marty sings Johnnny B. Goode, and we want Johnny to be good, or simply Johnny Balls, coz his name is john and he can ball!, so we would have Adam "Balls" Ballinger and Johnny "Balls" Gilchrist

Yep, I'm going to be yelling out "Back to the Future!!!" from now on. Just rolls off the tongue, and everyone sitting near me will know exactly what I mean so there won't be any need to explain the ambiguity.
